For a taste of authentic food of Andaman and Nicobar islands , go to some of their most frequented eateries such as the beach cafes in Havelock Island, the local markets in Port Blair and seafood stalls in and around Radhanagar Beach. These restaurants offer fresh fish, prawns, lobsters and crabs that are cooked using coconuts and mild spices. Do not miss breakfast stuff at the nearby bakeries and local Nicobary niceties in case they have any. A visit to small food joints will expose you to the local island food and friendly people who will probably advise you on what to eat best.
